Our patient and staff safety are of paramount importance at Sprint Physiotherapy. Following the Covid-19 pandemic we implemented a number of changes to mitigate the risk of infection and maintain our highest infection control standards.


We can offer face to face consultations for all of our services, and there is no longer a requirement for all staff and patients to wear a facemask when attending for an appointment. This is in line with current English government and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy guidelines. We reserve the right to reintroduce a face mask policy for all if the infection rate increases or guidelines change. For the time being, staff will risk assess patients on an individual basis and mask accordingly. You are, of course, welcome to wear a face mask or ask our staff to wear one if this is your preference, or you have a medical issue which makes you more vulnerable. 


We are still offering remote video and telephone consultations if this is more appropriate for you.

Important Changes
  1. Please do not attend the clinic if you have any signs of a cold or any winter virus. Different strains of Covid-19 can have a variety of symptoms, so we ask that if you are unwell you do not risk infecting others. Clinicians have the right to withhold treatment if they suspect a risk of infection.

  2. We continue to disinfect all surfaces, equipment and high touch points within the clinic between patients and regularly throughout the day.
Infection Control

At Sprint Physiotherapy we will adhere to strict infection control protocols.  These will include ensuring that all areas in the clinic are sanitised before and in between the arrival of each patient.  All staff will wear personal protective equipment during contact with patients as required based on guidance from Public Health England (PHE) and the CSP.


Please sanitise/wash hands on arrival and avoid touching surfaces unless necessary.


Clinicians will need to ensure they keep to appointment times and will not be able to overrun unless the time has been booked in advance to ensure they have time to sanitise and ventilate the room between appointments.


Contactless payment is encouraged where possible with debit or credit card, Apple/G pay or BACS transfer. Please use name and invoice number as a reference if paying by bank transfer.
