Philosophy and approach
Musculoskeletal physiotherapy covers problems and injuries of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, discs and nerves.
We believe what really sets us apart from other clinics is the dedication of all of our physiotherapists to restoring normal function and movement patterns, thereby preventing future recurrences and generally helping you inhabit your body more comfortably.
We use an integrated, evidence based approach comprising manual therapy and rehabilitation programmes, which may include soft tissue massage, mobilisation or manipulation of joints, acupuncture, taping and electrotherapy. Rehabilitation comprises the teaching of specific exercises and postural re-education with the help of video analysis to restore balance to the body, alleviate pain and prevent problems recurring in the future.

What to expect
On your first visit your physiotherapist will take a thorough medical history from you and fully assess your problem. They will decide with you on the appropriate course of treatment including goal setting and time scales.
Your physiotherapist will then work closely with you to achieve a resolution to your problem because we believe the best results are achieved when you take an active role in your recovery and rehabilitation.
